Frequently asked questions
General FAQ
Personal training sessions usually last 30 minutes, depending on the program and your individual needs. Some trainers may offer shorter or longer sessions to accommodate your needs. All regular sessions are priced based on a 30-minute duration. Athletic training sessions last on average 35-45 minutes in duration due to this being a more specialized training modality.
The frequency of personal training sessions depends on your goals, fitness level, and availability. Typically, clients work out with a personal trainer 1-3 times per week for optimal results. However, this can be tailored to fit your schedule and preferences. We will discuss this during our initial consultation and continue to evaluate your training program and schedule each month.
Absolutely! Personal training is beneficial for individuals of all fitness levels, including beginners. A personal trainer will guide you through proper techniques, introduce you to effective workouts, and gradually progress your training as you build strength and confidence. I hate when someone says, "I need to get in shape before beginning training." This statement is not true at all! In fact, starting with a trainer will ensure you are doing the correct exercises for your body type, fitness level, and goals while ensuring you begin your new program safely and with good form and technique.
Yes, we offer virtual personal training sessions for those who prefer to train remotely or have limitations in attending in-person sessions. Virtual training allows for flexibility and convenience while still receiving expert guidance and support.
In addition, we encourage all members to join virtually when traveling or on vacation so you can stay on schedule. We strive always to provide an option for you to stay on your workout schedule regardless of your environment or travel situation.
The right mindset and a positive attitude! :)
On a serious note, we have membership paperwork that includes an agreement, liablity waiver, and payment form. These can be completed electronically or on paper in the studio. While our membership runs for 12 months and then renews each year until you request to cancel, we do not have an early cancellation fee. To cancel membership, a 30-day notice is required, and there will be no fees applied.
Drive offers both membership and nonmembership options, however, there is a cost savings to having the membership as you will receive discounted pricing on all training services. Memberships are monthly payments set up on auto-debit (checking account or credit card). Membership is billed in advance for the next month, meaning the membership paid on the 16th of the month is to cover the next month on the calendar. Memberships fees apply to both in-studio and online services and give you the flexibility of hybrid training as well.
We are happy to assist you with updating or canceling your membership. To make a change of any type to your billing (membership and training), you must send an email to billing@drivefitproject.com. (billing@drivefitproject.com.) Please note, text messages and verbal communication with your training will not constitute compliance with our policy. To ensure your request reaches the correct person in a timely manner, all requests are required via email to billing@drivefitproject.com. (billing@drivefitproject.com.)
A minimum of 15 days notice is required to update any billing charges prior to your next scheduled bill date. Any requests that are received after this threshold will be implemented the following billing period, meaning you will still see the next scheduled billing occur if your request comes in with less than 15 days notice. Our billing is scheduled in advance, and we, unfortunately, cannot respond to requests that come in last minute. We will process your request once received for the billing period if it falls to and provide written correspondence back to you to confirm that your request has been completed.
Drive does not provide refunds for any unused services, packages or membership fees. Training sessions and/or membership do not carry over from one month to the next or across years. Training packages and sessions are designed to be used each month. Once your membership is terminated, you will be subject to any changes in pricing in the future.
If you ever have any questions about your billing, please don't hesitate to contact a member of our billing support team at billling@drivefitproject.com. (billling@drivefitproject.com.)
